Forbes Canada's Best Employers

For the past year, Canada’s unemployment rate has been steadily dropping—from 9.4% at the end of 2021 to 5% at the end of 2022, according to Statistics Canada. As the job market continues to thrive, Forbes partnered with the market research firm Statista to compile our annual list of Canada’s Best Employers. The ranking was based on a survey of more than 12,000 Canadians working for companies and institutions with at least 500 employees. Participants were asked to rate how likely they were to recommend their current employer, and could recommend employers other than their own. Those factors and others were used to create the final list of 300.
